  • Herne are HAMPSHIRE CUP CHAMPIONS

    On Wednesday our Girls’ Football team travelled to Basingstoke to play Oakley Junior School in the final of the Hampshire Cup. The game could not have been closer. Oakley went into an early lead and our girls left it till the last second of the game to snatch an equaliser. The game went into extra time and then into penalties, where we finally defeated them 4-3. With 32 teams entering this Cup, this is an incredible achievement by our girls and the whole school community could not be prouder of you. A big ‘thank you’ to all the parents who came and showed their support at the final.

  • Medical Appointments - Update

    MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS

    When making medical appointments for your child could we ask that these are made during the school holidays if possible. If they need to have an appointment during school time could you ask for afternoon appointments if available. If neither of these options are possible and you are planning to bring your child in late morning, please phone the office before 10.00 am to let us know their lunch choice or send them in with a packed lunch from home.   • New Online Parents Evening Booking System

    Go Live Date: 28th February 2017

    We are currently trialling a new online booking system for our Parents Evening appointments. You will be able to book your own appointments online for parents evening (8th & 14th March), from 9am on Tuesday 28th February until 12 midday on Monday 6th March, via our online booking system. 

    Click on the following link and resgister your details. www.herne.parentseveningsystem.co.uk 

    This will mean that there will no longer be the booking boards at the front of the school. If you have any problems with this new online booking, please do not panic as you can still ring our school office to book your appointment.
